Stayed here during a bike tour. Not a fancy place but it got the job done of being a warm place with a shower. Also the Farmington canal heritage trail is very close and an awesome bike trail that I would fully recommend.
Beds are the worst- tv barely gets anything and had to manually sift through channels which is pain on a satellite receiver
This place was probably built in the 1940's. It has pine panelling, for example. A South Asian family bought it probably 15 years ago, emphasized by the curry scent wafting through the office. It is kept up probably about the way a motel in South Asia would be kept up, or a little better. Check the sheets for cleanliness, check for soap, and shampoo, and towels. They don't always abide by the posted prices on the Internet, and they may not understand your questions about anything other than the most routine issues. The lock is in the door handle- there are no deadbolts. There are 2 breakfast/lunch restaurants within walking distance, and it's about 3 miles north of the center of town. There is WiFi. The cable TV is a little hard to access, no problem for me as I don't watch TV. If you need to put a visiting relative up for the night, nearby, or, say, you're on a bicycle tour, it's ok for that. Travelodge near the airport is cheaper, but farther away of course.
Booked it on the fly while we're traveling- book 6hours prior. They had no "conformation" supposedly
Can see dust/dirt all around everything like they don't clean edges.
Full of drug addicts and mental health patients on section 8.
We booked $69 they wanted $75!
Shower looked gross, tiny curtains that don't block any light especially if you have the air on.
